Frazier Worth-Math Teacher
Founding math teacher Frazier Worth is a native of western North Carolina and has lived in Asheville for nineteen years. He is a graduate of Davidson College with a B.S. in Biology. He received his North Carolina Teaching Certificate in Science from UNC-Charlotte. He taught at The Patterson School in Lenoir, NC for 5 years, then at Asheville High School for 7 years (where he prepared founding teacher David Byers and countless others to pass the AP Physics exam). Following Asheville High, he home-schooled his children Allen and Anne Worth for three years during middle school.

Frazier also tutors in math and has taught classes for home-schoolers and others in physics and chemistry and algebra. Over the course of his career, he has taught:

... and many more.
Frazier passed a quiet summer with his family. His son, Allen, is a senior at AHS this year and is applying to colleges. His daughter, Anne, is a freshman at AHS this year. He did find time to grow a lot of vegetables and harvest honey from his bees. His band, Honeybee Democracy, is recording a demo disc this fall.
